  • avocado is mainly a summer growth and ripens, subject to the variety, from late September to late May.
  • Avocado picking should be completed by July. Negev Produce maintains successive supply to customers by way of varied marketing channels.

Storage conditions 

Retaining his quality is achieved by storage in a controlled temperature in refrigerated rooms under special conditions that enable to maintain the quality of produce over a long span of time. thus allowing to market quality produce.

Marketing and distribution 

shipments are packed and dispatched to the customers. In Negev Produce we have a controlled distribution system, with which we are able to control the entire value chain from packinghouse to the customer’s doorstep, while maintaining high standards.

The main ports through which export is performed are located in Britain, France, the Netherlands, Belgium and Russia. The main distribution is carried out
by maritime conveying of merchandise to the closest port in Europe and from there it is transferred by trucks to the farther countries of Northern Europe.

In urgent cases, shipments can be done by air.

The Reed avocado is a large variety that has a thick, pebbled skin and a rich, buttery flavour. It is available from spring to summer and is great for slicing and adding to sandwiches or salads.


The Gwen avocado is a small, round avocado with a smooth, shiny skin. It has a sweet and nutty flavour and is perfect for slicing and adding to sandwiches or salads.


The Bacon avocado has a distinct nutty flavour and creamy texture, with a slightly sweeter taste than Hass avocados. They are mostly used in salads, sandwiches, and guacamole.


The Zutano avocado is known for its smooth texture and mild flavour. It has a thin skin that turns yellow when ripe. Zutano avocados are available from fall to spring and are perfect for slicing and adding to salads or sandwiches.

Lamb Hass 

The Lamb Hass avocado is a cross between a Hass and a Gwen avocado. They have a similar texture to Hass avocados but with a slightly sweeter taste. They are available from late winter to early spring and are great for making guacamole, sandwiches, and salads.


The Maluma avocado has a smooth and creamy texture with a nutty flavour. They have a green and shiny skin, and they are perfect for slicing and adding to sandwiches or salads.


The Lula avocado is a smaller and rounder version of Hass avocado. They have a creamy texture and nutty flavour, and they are perfect for guacamole or mashed avocado toast.
